Reflections on Reflecting in Art Therapy
Throughout my 50 years of practice, I have been both fascinated and frustrated by the creative challenge of responsible reflection – within myself, between myself and the patient(s), and helping the artist(s) learn to reflect on process and product. It is perhaps the most difficult, yet the most vital element of conducting sensitive, respectful, and ultimately effective art therapy.

Pendant mes 50 ans de pratique, j’ai été fascinée et frustrée par le défi créatif d’une réflexion responsable. En moi, entre moi et le patient (s) à aider l’artiste (s) qui apprend à réfléchir sur le processus et le résultat. C’est peut-être le plus difficile, et pourtant l’élément le plus essentiel de la conduite sensible, respectueuse et en fin de compte efficace, de l’Art-thérapie.
